Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most frequently asked questions can be found directly under the respective IT services. Please always look there first to see if your question can be answered. If not, we at the VSETH IT Support Group (ISG) will be happy to help. You can then submit a ticket or come by the support on site.
Issuing a Ticket
To submit a ticket, write an e-mail to vseth-it-support@ethz.ch. Within 5 days your request will be reviewed and a first response will be written. Depending on your request we can either help you immediately or we will take care of it as soon as possible. Please formulate your request as precisely as possible and give us the nethz abbreviations if it concerns persons.
Support on-site
If you would like to speak directly to someone from VSETH ISG, we can offer you on-site support once a week during the semester. You do not need to make an appointment, just come by.
Every Tuesday, 16:00 - 17:00 at CAB 15.2
Due to the current situation we are no longer offering on-site support for the time being!
In case you cannot be there in person, there is the possibility of joining via Zoom. To do so, please send an email to vseth-it-support@ethz.ch and we will send you the meeting link.
